“The Time Is Now” is the title of the new double album by DJ Antoine. It is of course a party album, but not only. “My new album is meant to bring people closer to each other and remind us that it’s time to make a difference in the world,” the Star DJ explains the message behind the title of his new album. As an encore, DJ Antoine lifts his glass and presents a “Best Of” collection of his more than 25 years of music career on the second CD. “The Time Is Now” was released on November 9, 2018 via Houseworks / Kontor Records / Phonag Records / Energy Production / Magic Records.
With “The Time Is Now” DJ Antoine delivers a varied and contemporary dance album, which will delight not only die-hard DJ Antoine fans, but also all friends of good commercial dance music. Together with his studio partner Mad Mark, he created 21 new songs ranging from “uplifting” EDM tracks, to rather “deep”, almost gloomy Club-House vibes, from “French touch” inspired Disco-House titles, to the typical DJ Antoine dance pop earworm. Although “The Time Is Now” is stylistically very diverse, DJ Antoine manages to put the typical stamp on each song and to give the album a common thread. On the titles “Loved Me Once” or “Downfall” Antoine also shows an unusually personal side and gives us an insight into his emotional world. On the second CD, DJ Antoine presents his impressive repertoire of hits from more than two decades of his career. As a special treat, the Swiss Edition of the album includes three exclusive acoustic versions of the titles “Symphony”, “Downfall” and “El Paradiso” as a bonus.
